Mission/Outreach Minimize
Community House on Broadway

Experience the joy of serving at the Community House on Broadway!  At Community House, 75-100 homeless people are served dinner each night. WPC has served this homeless shelter financially and serving dinner monthly for more than 15 years.  We serve the dinner on the second Saturday of each month.

In 2011, our church provided 12 meals (once a month on the second Saturday) in addition to donations designated to Community House.  This was possible because of YOU!!!  God calls us to provide for the hungry and homeless.  Through our service, we are being obedient to God's call and helping people in need.  THANK YOU to each of you who have made this possible in 2011!!!!  Your generosity makes all the difference to the people at Community House.

A poster is in the narthex with sign-ups for 2012, providing dinner on the second Saturday each month.  In 2011, several groups signed up for providing dinner at Community House including individuals, session, deacons, choir, the men's Thursday morning group and more.  Let's see how fast we can fill the whole year with sign-ups to do the monthly dinner at Longview's homeless shelter in 2012.

Questions? Please see Martha Swanstrum or Claralee Williams.
