Ladies’ Monday Night Bible Study

Meets on the first and third Mondays at 7:30 p.m. at Margaret Morrison’s home.  If you have any questions or need directions, please call Jill Withrow at 225-1538. 

 

Men and women!!! Take a break from your chores on Tuesday morning. How about attending the 10:00 a.m. Bible Study?   It meets every Tuesday morning in Ethel's Room at the church. Come and get refreshed and revived as we study God’s Word.  We will be studying the bookS of Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther.  

Adult Christian Education Class…

 Please join us Sunday mornings at 9:20 a.m., in the Ethel Goerig room, as we go through the book of Galatians.
Remember-child care is available throughout Sunday School and Worship on Sunday mornings!

 Growth Groups

Get together with friends, read and talk about the Bible, and experience more of the life that God promises us.  Groups meet at various times of the week.  Some groups meet once a week and others meet every other week.  Pick a group that fits your schedule.

Talk to your friends and made a decision to journey together for ten weeks.  If you have questions, sign-ups will be coordinated by Portia Brown (225-8863) and Liz Hover (225-7833).  Look for the sign-sheet in the church Narthex, and get connected.

Classes beginning January 15^th:
Teen Sunday School Class from 9:00-9:50. Based on Blackaby’s Experiencing God, we will discuss seven scriptural truths that help us develop a solid relationship with God.  Questions? Please see Liz Hover.

 

New Adult Sunday School Class: Leap Over the Wall: Earthly Spirituality for Everyday Christians by Eugene Peterson.  Join is Sunday mornings (at our new time) for 9:20-9:50 AM as we examine stories from David’s life in order to learn lessons in everyday faith and spirituality.

 

The Truth Project
Jim ♥ Karen Wilson are starting the New Year off with Focus on the Family’s Truth Project.  It is a series of 12 video presentations with group sharing and a 2 hour commitment for Sunday afternoons.  We’ll start Jan. 15^th at 2:00 PM and be meeting through April 1^st.   Visit www.thetruthproject.org  to watch an overview on serious differences between the world view and a Christian world view.  We’ll look at a number of areas like creation, American history and the subtle way our perceptions may be altered by man’s understanding of how life should be.  It will be a gift with lasting value.

We excited to introduce a new idea for deepening our relationship with God and deepening our relationship with friends from Woodland Presbyterian Church.  The weekly church bulletin will contain discussion questions based on sermon.  We encourage you to use these discussion questions in one of several ways.

 

· You can use them to stimulate your own understanding of how to apply the ideas from the sermon in your own life.
· You can use them as a starting point for a conversation within your own family.
· You can use them as the focus of a regular small group discussion with several friends from the church.
